The brief

Heathcote is a unique site offering uninterrupted views of Perth City, set among beautifully restored heritage buildings and landscaped gardens.

Calibre Coatings is responsible for the ongoing maintenance painting of the interiors and exteriors all buildings – including heritage buildings – and also full external repainting that must withstand the harsh extremes of Western Australia’s climate and being close to water.

The challenges

The Reserve is often busy with family picnics, barbecues and weddings, so this work has to be fitted in with the knowledge that we are working on a site that is frequently used by the community.

The outcome

This ongoing program is built into our calendar of cyclical works and is completed to the satisfaction of the City of Melville.
